yet received a Laura ( RAIDER STAMP), a rather unusual envelope, unmarked special, but sent by the Capt. RUSSELL the USAF MISSION TO ECUADOR probably in the years 1948/1950.
The activity of U.S. AIR FORCE in Ecuador was quite important in the years 1940/1950 with the sale of P47 Thunderbolt but especially the construction of two airbases (Baltra and Salinas) to defend the Panama Canal.

Note that the envelope traveled by air Co. Panagra , extension of the PAN-AM to the South American continent between 1929 and 1967. Thank you Laura for this unusual although Interesting cover.
